Queen was ready to give the order for Sadao's execution. But the situation was too strange to warrant such an immediate conclusion. Why would someone be so stupid to make such a claim? Or is he merely brave? Where does he take his bravery from? Usually only someone of great powerful, regardless of their excessive self-esteem, would be able to muster that much bravery. Is he very powerful, and if so is there a way to exploit it?
She could not offer herself any hypothesis, and it was precisely that reason which made her feel as though there was more under the surface. "Ichimonji Sadao," Queen rose from her seat. "I will confer with the Checkmate Four regarding your fate. You are allowed freedom but you are forbidden from leaving this city on pain of death."

Rook took all this in to his heart and knowledge “Very well my queen, “ standing next to his queen he looked on to the man claiming to be the so called 5th member, he didn’t like it, but hey he was just used to the old ways of the Checkmate 4. And what shall the 5th be anyone’s if he was one. “That reminds me Queen, Bishop is missing yet again, he has a bad habit of not being around when needed, and he lacks the knowledge to be a bishop, but I’ m afraid I’m over stepping problems as it is, because for now we have to deal with this one.”

"Ah... So I can't leave town? As you wish, my Queen." He reached up and scratched his head. He figured her declaration was close enough to being bid to leave her site.
"But, you know... Never mind. I'll leave now." He said, turning and pulling his sunglasses free. He slipped them over his face, and walked off. He'd wanted to say something about how much he liked the shape of her face, and how beautiful she'd look if she'd dress in a manner more fitting of her age, but... He didn't have any right to. Once he was back in that elevator, he sighed.
Can't leave town? That means I can't work. Ugh. This isn't good at all. He was referring to his career as a minor commercial photographer. He worked with... more touchy models, some of whom were afraid of men. He just sighed. Caroline is going to be pissed, and I can't send a replacement... I can't leave, either, because I'm sure she'll notice if I'm gone for three days.
"How vexing..." He slid down the wall, sitting on the floor of the elevator for the last several floors, eyes closed, as disappointed as he was angry.

Eyes kept on the doors, Queen nodded. "He needs to be more responsible," she agreed. "I will want him found and have it seen to that he starts taking his duties seriously." Shaking her head, she then turned to Rook. "But you are right, we must decide what to do with Ichimonji Sado first. I also don't think I can trust Bishop's judgement as of now so we shall not need him now." Acknowledging the emptiness of the hall, Queen began to move to her exit. "What do you think I should do, Rook?"

Rook stood there for a moment as a hunter and well knowledge about the checkmate four. He looked at her eyes “My Queen, I believe he tells the truth, but there’s a problem we never gotten word of a fifth member before. Thou normally he has to under go a trail of sorts to prove his wroth like in my day I had to face 3 armies to become rook. But times have changed So I shall go with what you wish to do.” the old trail by a battle was old and the last fangire to do so was Rook and stills holds the record of the only one facing so many to prove his wroth- “that reminds me, I been hearing strange things all over Japan. They say some monster is around here.”

"Monster?" Queen repeated in an obvious curiosity. "What do you know about this monster?" she asked while already wondering what it could be. "Is it an alien from the other worlds? A vanquished member of the Demon Races? Tell me everything that you have heard."

“I Haven’t gotten that much time to get much information my queen, but from what I gathered and based on other worlds out there species this monster it is alien to all of them.” Rook moved to the side “And they say there is more then one.” Rook smelled the area something wasn’t there and he spun around hitting something that hit the wall, it was the rabbit fangire “Queen you may want to get away I’m afraid this isn’t the rabbit fangire anymore…..” he pulled off his black ropes off showing off his fangire form and ran to the former Rabbit fangie as it turned into something in between a fangire and something else, like a mirage it faded away behind Rook, He kicked it down “What are you to have such tricks?” no answer only laughter and then Rabbit fangire started to crack
“You have a stronger kick then most hahahahaha” the former rabbit fangire said as it shattered and a faint white light came from it and something else that laughed and disappeared Rook stood there still on guard the danger pasted

A bat was perched upside down in a corner of the room. It was blue, with yellow eyes, and had witnessed much of what was going on. Interesting... I'll have to let Takeru know about this...a 5th Checkmate 4 member. What could this mean? Gaovat thought, doing his best to remain unnoticed. He'd have to leave soon if a fight was going to break out, as he noted by the actions taken by Rook against what had been the Rabbit Fangire, but how could he leave without being noticed?
***
Takeru, meanwhile, was having a day off. He'd been working hard recently, negotiating between Fangires who'd been attacking humans. Takeru understand that it was his race's nature to feed on humans, but for so long he'd not fed on humans, and was still clean, in that sense.
Regardless, he'd taken the task up himself to stop these Fangire, although not with force, but reasoning, as a sign of goodwill to the checkmate 4, and Queen especially, that he was their ally. He'd even left Gaovat and Tatsulot at his home, so he could only fight as a fangire for protection.
So today, he was taking a break. He'd been relatively succesful in his ventures, and things between Fangire and Humans hadn't been quite this good. Takeru grinned as he lay back on a grassy hill, taking in the clear blue sky he was looking at, and the clouds he was enjoying. He closed his eyes and relaxed, better than he had in a long time.
***
Gaovat decided he had to leave now or never, while there was action going on and Rook and Queen were distracted.
Unfurling his wings, Gaovat dropped from his perch, and flew as silently and quickly towards the coincidentally open window he had entered through. As he made his way, he silently prayed he wouldn't be noticed.

Queen dropped to a squat and fingered the pieces of a glass on the floor. She had not taken her position long but she was getting used to the receptionist. It was a little sad to see her gone like that. Shaking her head disapprovingly, she stood up again and was just about to issue a decree when something was caught in her peripheral vission. She snapped at that direction and commanded the bat "Stop!"
"Why are you here?"

Meanwhile, in Damiens room.....
an ordinate crib sits in the center of the room outside standing guard are two fangire disguised as human butlers. Cries ring out as the baby prince awakens from his nap, these nearby cries caught the ears of a sleeping imperial dragon, another of the creations of the kivat smiths.
This dragon awoke and stretched his wings before taking flight and landing on the side of Damiens crib.
"Stop your noise, your babbling is almost as incisive as that fool of a father you had, child it seems you yet may have some potential. Even at this age i can feel your energy pulsating, he he he lets see how much of my power you can unlock at this age a test young Noboori.
Just then kivarbat flew into the room to check on Baby Damien discovering this unknown visitor and perceiving it as a threat to the young prince.
"Get away from him" the kivarbat shouted as he launched a tackling attack at the imperial dragon.
The imperial dragon took the tackle to his body and hovered backwards a little. "Adolescent kivat knee before the Imperial Dragon Tarsulot." Tarsulot raised his wing and struck from above hard at the bats face knocking him silly as he bounced off the floor. Damien cried out from the noise. This alerted the guards fangire standing guard who quickly unlocked the door and entered.
A black aura engulfed baby damien and Tarsulot cried out "Burning Fortissimo" The black aura exploded and he combined with the child and transformed into a shady black rider the armor vastly different from any armor a kivat produced.
The fangire butlers transformed and approached, " What did you do with the prince." The black rider refused to answer and began to attack the two fangire, the battle spilled out into the queens court and into the eyes of the queen. The fangire guards where loosing badly for two known to be fairly strong fangire, they seemed bearly able to defend themselves from this black clad armored rider. One of the fangire was kicked and landed face down next to queen. The rider then turned his attention to queen, getting in a stance with his right foot behind him he prepare to attack. In an instant his right foot ignited into a black flame and the rider quickly sprinted the short distance to queen and planted a high head level kick towards her and the butler fangire, as a last act of loyalty threw himself in front of the attack taking the hit squarely on to the side of the head. The fangire gasped for a second before stumbling a few feet and shattering to the floor in front of queen. The other fangire began to cower running from the throne room. The rider ignored him and focused his gaze back on queen as he paced slowly towards her.
Out from the other room a shaken Kivarbat flew into the room to queens side.
"Queen!!! It's the prince your highness, something evils possessed him, we cant hurt him but i can't let him kill you. We don't have a choice you must transform and defend yourself."

(ooc: this is Cross, Raiki gave me his details to post in the hopes I can keep posts going during his absence)
Rook glanced at the shattered fangire on the floor. He hadn't really thought much about the rabbit fangire, but he was sad to see a servant of the Checkmate 4 gone. He couldn't help pondering about what had happened, but he ignored, as he witnessed Queen halting Gaovat, and then the black rider's, or Damien's, sudden mysterious appearance.
Still in his Fangire form, he made to move inbetween the Rider and Queen.
"I'll do my best to protect you my Queen, but I'm not sure whether my power will be enough..." Rook stated uncertainly. He had a vague idea of what this might be, but he would wait until he was sure before he said anything. He would not want to misinform the Queen.

Gaovat stopped in his tracks. Or flightpath, as might be more appropriate. he was hoping this wouldn't happen, but it was a foolish hope to assume Queen would let this slide if she noticed him.
"Uh, well, Queen, I was simply, keeping an eye on things around here during Takeru's absence. He's been travelling around Japan trying to settle the odd dispute between Humans and Fangires you see. He doesn't know I'm here, he probably wouldn't want me to be here either, that is all." Gaovat answered, honestly and truthfully. She may not believe him but he had certainly told the truth.
It was then that Damien appeared in Rider form, menacing and well, exuding a very evil presence. Gaovat fluttered over to Queen and flapped around her head.
"I'm not sure if you have your own Kivat partner for battle, but if you would like to use the powers of Gaova to combat...this, then feel free. Perhaps now is a good time to inform you that Tatsulot is currently paired with Takeru and myself, make use of him for this purpose if you wish, there is a fuestle for such a purpose..." Gaovat advised.

The dizzying sucession of one strange incident and another would have stunned Queen if her survival instincts were not urging her from it. She found it very hard to believe that the black thing that wanted to kill her was Damien. Indeed, the only reason she did not outright disbelieve the claim was because she was so shaken that the concept of belief laid dormant for the moment.
She knew she had to defend herself, and was ready to use the power of Kivaros until Gaovat reminded her of his presence. It took much less than a second, but Queen was debating on her choices within that miniscule frame of time. She knew that Kivar would not be able to harness its full power by himself, but at least she was sure enough of his loyalties. Gaovat was powerful without question, but she found it hard to trust him by association with Takeru.
"Kivar!" she called out and stretched her hand. Given the infusing bite, the bat then docked himself on the buckle and Queen was immediately in the armour of Kivaros. It was a weird feeling, but she did not have time to ponder about it. "I may need your help Gaovat," she said as she stepped forward to the black creature who may or may not be her child.
"What are you?"

"So little bat your still going to stand in the way of my fun." Do you actually think anything you can muster will be a match for me. raising his head to address queen.
"So queen are you proud of how much evil this child has in him at such an age. From your womb you insured the destruction of all human life on this world, but enough about your child's great deeds to come, i haven't introduced myself.
"I am the imperial red dragon Tarsulot, by chance i have formed a bond with Damien, similar to what you and that kivat did, except for every ounce of power emanating from this armor is coming from this truly frightening infant. What am i doing, well this is just my test drive you could say and im liking this child far to much to let him go."
The sudden defensive movements of rook caught his attention. "You better put a leash on him before you find yourself s replacing your rook. Now run along puppy this fight is between the queen and myself!"

The lean bat was resting upside-down in the shattered window, watching the events unfold. Of course, he'd come looking for Sadao, but he'd been several moments too late. His wings twitched, and he peered at the free-floating bat.
"You. Which rider are you partnered with?" He asked the Gaovat plainly. The voice was cold and stern, and sharp as a razor blade. His eyes were a sharp emerald and his body was black with dark gray detailing. Refined, elegant, and plain in a formal manner. - Meanwhile, of course, Sadao had just reached the bottom floor of the building, eyes downcast. He pushed himself to his feet, brushed himself off, and walked out the elevator without letting the slightest bit of his conflicted emotions play across his face. He let the sunglasses rest low on his nose, hands in his pockets. The fact that he was still alive was a good start as any. He only had to wait for his bat to find him... Then he could go look for the Renegate riders. To talk to them, at least.
