The portal dropped Kengo off outside the building that held the Fangire Castle. When Kengo looked up, he sighed. It was menacing, but this is where he felt like he was supposed to be at the moment. He wasn't looking for Queen, but he knew what he wanted was in there. He dismounted his bike with flourish and familiar skill, leaving it twenty feet away from the front door of the building. Nobody seemed to notice, but he took the keys with him anyway.
He could already feel the fangire energy throbbing in the back of his head, but he had a feeling that what he was here for would fix that, once and for all. He pushed his way into the building, and walked toward the reception desk. He spoke words that felt out of place in his mouth, that had not been in his mind.
"Tell Queen that I need an audience with her and her guest immediately. You can do that, right, Rabbit Fangire?" He could see, now. IT was true, she was the rabbit fangire. It was painted on her features and posture, yet moments ago he couldn't have known that. Who or what had said it, then? Deus Ex Machina, of course.
"Tell her the White Witch is calling."

Yukiro was getting bored of this conversation as Gaova seemed to just be annoying Queen. He started walking around the room aimlessly, when a Fangire, the rabbit, approached. "Bishop, a strange human is downstairs demanding an audience with Queen and her guest. He wants it immediately. But this man, he is very peculiar, I don't know how but I feel something strange about him." the Rabbit Fangire told Bishop. "I'll go talk to him. Come with me." Bishop said, beckoning with his hand behind him. Xanxaskivat and the Rabbit followed him downstairs. They reached the reception desk and saw Kengo. "What is so important that you must interrupt Queen? She is in an important meeting right now and does not need any more interruptions. But I would like to see why you are demanding an audience at this moment."

Takeru grinned at this, and stood up, not really wanting to offend Queen, as he didn't want to much trouble from what he hoped would be a brief encounter.
"Then how are you feeding? I don't understand how you can feed and keep a good relationship with humankind." Takeru stated, carrying on, before being interrupted by Bishop.
Takeru sort of tuned out, but a green light emanated from his satchel. He knew what it was, the soul of the warrior who mortally wounded Darius, allowing Takeru to deal the finishing blow. Takeru quickly took his jumper off and shoved it in the satchel, hoping to cover the glowing, which it did, it just depended on whether the others saw it or not...

Queen spied a glow from Takeru's satchel, which he immediately covered up. She did not notice much of it, but his instinct made it suspect. And somehow, even though Bishop has decided to leave the room, she did not feel any less safe. It was as though Takeru was not really planning on anything. Still...
"The same way humans are at peace with fish," she answered him. She knew that it would not be satisfactory to his ears, but it was a truth she must justify, if only for integrity's sake. "Humans eat fish, but as long as they are not actively killing fish for game, there is peace between them. Likewise, we Fangires feed on humans for our survival, and as long as we act smart they can live in ignorant bliss."

While he waited, he swept the room with his eyes. Every Fangire's form seemed to hover in their place, physically transparent. The few who weren't fangire seemed to be visitors, mailmen, the like. He wondered if this world was really okay. Then the rabbit returned, and he smiled. Her Fangire form was actually fairly cute, not at all as menacing as the darkness peeling formlessly off the one she'd brought back. He wasn't wholly fangire, it seemed. And what was it that was letting Kengo see this madness?
"You're one of the checkmate four, then? Who is the Queen's guest, and why am I driven so madly to see him or her?" He asked, swiftly in retort to Bishop's question. He pulled his phone out of his pocket, and it was suddenly obvious that his belt was still on his waist. He pushed a button on his phone and the Sigma Blaster was suddenly on the desk he was leaning against. He grabbed it, and waited patiently.
He held the blaster, and hit the button three once. He wasn't sure if he was in control of this violently threatening action, but he turned to the rabbit.
"Go take the rest of the day off. If they argue, tell them that you were running for your life, so you could live to greet friendlier guests another day." He said, as he hit the button again. He turned to the boy.
"Do I have to fight my way to queen, or will you take me to her?"

"That's a very hard choice." Yukiro said sarcastically. "Follow me." Yukiro went upstairs and stopped at a door. "Wait here, I need to see if Queen wishes to speak with you." Yukiro stepped inside and walked next to Queen and whispered into her ear. "There's someone waiting outside demanding an audience, he's threatening us with a blaster. He seems to be a rider."

Well, he'd made an error in judgement somewhere. Kyo was tumbling through a world of grey curtains and shimmering lights while his belt continuously sparked green lightning despite him being in his human form. Rolling onto his front he realised he was indeed accelerating and towards a strange world in front of him. He needed some way to stop or he was going to hit the world in front of him at speeds even he couldn't survive. He shifted his shoulders sharply and tried to begin speaking "Giiiiiga" but the sudden spike of energy from his belt shoved him violently sideways and out of the death drop.
Above a dumpster, a single grey sheet slowly unfolded and a remarkably heavy fell through at a pace only considered small by jet engines. The dark blue metal of the dumpster dented remarkably as the body hit it and a loud metallic clunk rang out through the area. It took Kyo a minute or two to get himself together as he crawled out of the dumpster and landed in a heap on the floor. He was pretty sure he'd destroyed one of those wooden tray things as he landed but he wasn't too sure. Slipping his hand into his pocket, he produced the Omni-Tool and began waving it over his body to see what breakages he'd incurred. He'd dented his skull and the tool was just no sucking the metal back into place, his right knee was shattered and the toes were curling and uncurling against his will until the fibres that made up the muscles had been repaired. He'd gotten off lucky, only a 10 minute repair job.
Putting away his healing wand, he adjusted his jacket, made sure his beanie was on straight and walked out into the city. It looked like a normal city, like the one's he'd heard about from stories about Old Tokyo but he didn't remember talk of castles. He took a moment to stroke his chin in contemplation before announcing, slightly foolishly "I hope the princess isn't in another castle" before approaching the front doors, slipping past as a girl left, paying her no mind. The reception seemed quite pleasent, like one of the Gigaran structures where their president lived. He approached the front desk but found no receptionist. He did notice something though, the stained glass motifs in the area... could this be the home of the Kaijin that attacked Yoichi? "Hello?" Nothing? Well, he wanted to have a look around. Maybe the people here would know how to reverse her condition and bring her back to consciousness.
Walking fairly sedately up a flight of stairs, keeping his eyes and ears open, Kyo came to face the same doors. The only other person up here was wearing a leather jacket and clearly waiting politely to be let inside the room. Kyo felt he should probably remove his hat but his skull was still repairing itself from the fall and he wouldn't want to walk in with an obviously cracked cranium. Instead he just decided to act casual "Hey, how's it going? Do you work here? I'm looking for the boss" In his mind, this sounded natural. In reality, it exposed that he knew absolutely nothing about this world.

Takeru grinned at her remark.
"Then keep it that way, or I'll be forced to act out against Checkmate Four and the fangire, despite being one myself." he replied, as they were interrupted yet again by Bishop. Takeru frowned a little at this, and his mind wandered back to green glow he had concealed earlier. He knew who wanted to see Queen, that much was obvious, however, he didn't know who exactly it was, he knew who they were and what they had done, but not them personally.
"What are you planning Takeru?" Gaovat whispered in Takeru's ear, as he flapped around his partner's head.
"No idea Gaovat, no idea." Takeru whispered back, deep in thought about what next to do...

Queen clenched her jaw. "I understand that you were able to defeat King with a borrowed power," she said taking a large stride towards him. "You should learn to be modest, boy. Have you ever considered how you would oppose us if you could no longer use that power?"
Just then, Bishop entered and presented his message. She took a moment to consider, wondering why there are so many visitors on this very day. Could it be a trap set by Takeru? To infiltrate on diplomatic terms and then strike from within? Finally, she gave the word, "Let them in." A risky decision, but they were still on her turf. Perhaps, the tables could be turned.
"I am not suggesting any hostility on my part," Queen turned again to Takeru. "All you need to know is that I recognise our relation with humans is symbiotic from now on, ever since we learnt of the existence of other worlds."

For whatever reason, the rabbit fangire had not only remained on the premises, but followed Kengo and Bishop. Kengo sighed, and patted her head, then pointed away from the Queen's hall.
"Shoo. No shooting, not once I get to see the Queen's guest. I'm not a crazed gunman." He said, hanging the blaster off the back of his Sigma Gear. He paused, watching the bunny walk off. Her human form was definitely... shaped nicely. Kengo flipped his phone closed, and stood there, taking off his belt, hanging it over his shoulder. A gesture of peaceful discussion, as opposed to hostile assault. He waited to be invited within.

The figure in the leather jacket turned to Kyo, giving him a slightly bemused stare. From this range, Kyo could now see that the guy hadn't bothered with throwing on a shirt and had a large tattoo across his shoulder, blue with a tiger design imprinted upon it. The word 'Yakuza' sprang to mind, and stayed long in his mind as the man rolled his shoulders and approached him, standing uncomfortably close "Oiiiiii bastard, the hell d'you think you're doing refer to the Queen in such language!?" "ahhh, Queen?" Kyo replied timidly, forgetting the fact he was made of more metal than most cars "I'm really sorry, I'm... new."
The yakuza-esque Fangire grunted, stepping back and snorting loudly in a way Kyo only wished his artifical sinuses could. He seemed to be appraising Kyo as best he could but the creepy way his eyes changed colour didn't sit very well with the young cyborg so he simply shuffled his feet uncomfortably and waited for him to stop. Finally, he grunted and asked "Why don't you have any life energy? You dying or something?" "Huh? Oh! Yes, That's it! I'm dying, I'm just here to ask the Queen if she can help" He wasn't a natural liar but he could make it work for him. "Hngh, well, you're a weird one. Go looking for Bishop, he might be able to help you out" "Ahhh, thanks. You're kinda nice for a gangster" "Get outta here before I cut ya!" The fangire growled and, taking the hint, Kyo scarpered back down the staircase.
So he wanted to see Queen and the best way to go about that was to look for Bishop? Since his cybernetics made him look like he had no life energy, maybe he could play that to his advantage? Though it worried him the leather jacket could see it, given how little of him was organic, then getting his life energy drained could probably kill him a lot faster than a normal person. Or his mechanical side'd take over, honestly he had no idea, he wasn't keen on experimenting.
Arriving back at the reception, he looked around for some sign of other people. Shouting out a few times "Hellooooo? Can I see the Queen, please?" Climbing a new flight of stairs, he began to wonder if he might be a little lost in this new place.

Yukiro went outside and let Kengo in. "Choose your words carefully, you wouldn't want to anger her."
Once again another fangire came and told Yukiro that there was another visitor who seemed clueless about this world. Yukiro sighed and went downstairs. He saw the man and walked towards him. "What is it?" he said, slightly annoyed.

"Sure it was a borrowed power, but who's to say that I'm not still borrowing it, m'lady?" Takeru jested, with a slight smirk. She was right though, if he didn't have access to Tatsulot's powers then opposing Checkmate Four would be quite a struggle. "I'm just hoping I won't have to oppose Checkmate Four. The only reason I fight is to protect the humans, who can barely defend themselves from our kind," Takeru added, his face losing any smirk, or sign of joking from it, "and to be perfectly honest, I'd rather strike up some form of allegiance with Checkmate Four, so we can work together protecting this world from offworld threats." he finished, his voice a deadly serious tone.
Gaovat had thought this might happen, and he had to agree with Takeru, it was the best option for this world, especially if Fangire and Human could continue to co-exist. After all, how could the world defend itself if it's inhabitants were fighting amongst themselves?

Queen let out a small, approving smile. "I'm glad you have decided to accept the harsh reality of the world," she said while walking back to her end of the chamber. "Though you are officially declared an enemy of the Empire, I see your assassination of the previous King is an act of service even though it is unintentional. I admit, he was so power mad he disregarded both our traditions and the safety of our world."
She stayed quiet, gazing at the door expecting it to open for her other guest. But there was nothing, so she turned back to Takeru. "You already know my stance," she continued. "It will be advantagerous to have you as an ally, but I will have you know that we will be able to function well even without you. Now, is there anything else?"

Kengo was sure the Queen would recognize him immediately, which caused him to pause a moment longer than he needed to. He walked in half a second too late, as she turned back to her guest and claimed he was a valuable ally, and before he could register the identity of the other, he lowered himself to both knees, bowing as low as he could to Queen.
"My apologies, your highness. I understand that these are troubled times for you and that you're quite busy, but I must speak with your guest at all costs. Something in the back of my head tells me he has something of mine that The Late King stole." Kengo spoke softly, hiding his face in this frenzied sort of submission. It was mostly an act, and after a moment his belt slipped off his shoulder, falling across his hand with a loud slap of metal on... whatever the floor was made of... Tile, maybe.
He didn't quite know how to proceed from that interruption, so he picked himself up, and avoided brushing himself off, as if to say 'No, I refuse the idea that the ground you walk upon could possibly be dirtier than myself.'
